Appointments

We have to keep following appointments on time so arriving late would mean that we have less time to dedicate to you.

  • Please make sure Test Patches for Tints are done prior to appointments.
  • Please do not arrive any earlier than appointment time. We will leave time to clean in between clients and also minimize the numbers in the salon.
  • Please continue to wear a mask unless you’re exempt.
  • Please park on the gravel.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel/reschedule your appointment for ANY REASON within 48 hours of your appointment time you will automatically incur 50% charge of the treatment cost you’re booked in for. If you cancel within 24 hours you will automatically incur 100% charge of the treatment cost you’re booked in for. Card details are taken at booking and stored securely by Stripe and used in the event of a cancellation being charged.

Treatment suitability

We will always assess whether treatment is suitable for you prior to any treatment being carried out. If not suitable we will inform you as to the reasons why.

Promotions

We may run promotions on both products and services. All promotions without exception are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • Limited to a specific time frame, outlined in the published information
  • Subject to availability
  • Product promotions are also only while stocks last

Patch Tests

Your personal safety and satisfaction is taken very seriously, some treatments will require a patch test at least 24 hours prior to the treatment for clients who have not previously had the treatment with us. Patch tests are compulsory and will be discussed and arranged when booking.

Tanning Skin Test

Fake Bake uses the highest quality botanicals and ingredients and is recommended by dermatologists. However, we do recommend a patch test before the first use of any tanning product. Fake Bake products do not contain a sunscreen unless indicated implicitly and will not protect from sunburn. Continued exposure of unprotected skin while in the sun may increase the risk of aging or skin cancer. Please use sunscreen.

Medical Conditions

Clients with medical conditions such as heart conditions, high/low blood pressure, circulatory disorders, gynaecological disorders, epilepsy, arthritis/rheumatism, diabetes, pregnancy, allergies or any other conditions that may cause concern regarding treatments MUST advise us of such in advance of any treatments. If any treatment is found to be unsuitable we will recommend alternatives  where possible, subject to availability.

Prices

All advertised prices are subject to change without prior notice. We try to give advance notice of any price increases.

Payments

Payment is accepted by cash or card.

In general most treatments require payment on the day. For some treatments a deposit will be required to secure the appointment with the balance due on the day of the treatment. You will be advised of the deposit fee if applicable on booking. All deposits will be refundable if you need to cancel unless the cancellation falls outside of the notice period above.

Courses of treatments

All treatments purchased as a course must be paid for in full in advance of the first treatment. All courses must be taken within 12 months of the date of purchase; any treatments left untaken after 12 months will be forfeited.

Training

All training courses must be paid for in full in advance of the first session.

Vouchers

Purchased gift vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. When redeemed, change cannot be given. Please check upon booking if you have any questions.

Liability

Joanna Ioannou will not be held liable for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provides all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. We will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.

The client agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, Joanna Ioannou regarding the care of a treated area. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit our liability for any personal injury resulting from our own negligence.

Complaints

Joanna Ioannou endeavours to treat all its clients appropriately, compassionately and fairly. If however, you have an issue with any matter in relation to your treatment, you are entitled to complain, either in person, by telephone or in writing and we will do our best to resolve any issue.

Prices

Prices are as stated time of publication. All prices include VAT. Delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted on individual products.

Delivery

COVID 19 – Due to the current pandemic delivery can take a little longer to arrive than usual. This is out of our control and will do our very best to ship items out asap. If you need the item at an earlier time stated in the options given, contact us directly for additional arrangements. We will do our best to accommodate your requests however we cannot guarantee anything and additional payment may be required.

All deliveries are subject to stock availability and authorisation of your payment. If you pre-order an item, we will contact you within 7 days to inform you on an expected delivery date. This can vary due to the manufacturer’s availability, so times may vary.

We use Royal Mail 1st Class Sighed For (Aimed at Next Day Delivery if purchased before 11am) and 2nd Class Signed For (3-4 Working Days). We offer free delivery on orders over £45.

Order Cancellation

The Company reserves the right to refuse the return of any goods ordered in error. Such errors must be notified to the Company within 48 hours of receipt of goods.

Returns

Should your product get lost, damaged or is faulty then you must notify the company within 48 hours of purchase. It is the customers responsible to inspect the delivery and inform us by email at info@joannaioannou.com or telephone on 07824391442 .
Any goods returned must be in exactly the same packaging and condition as when they were dispatched, i.e. in original and complete packaging, with all insertions and parts. Failure to do so might result in the goods being returned to the customer and the grounds for refunding the goods being nullified.

Photos will be requested as proof of damage from transit.
